I noticed there was at least one other post on this sub about the same issue so I thought I would toss my experience into the pile as well.įrom where I'm standing right now, I have a dead $400 monitor and have no idea what went wrong. I think it's astounding that LG expects their $400 monitors to only last 1 year before dying per their warranty. They already made me pay to ship it to them for the first RMA so I'm thinking of just buying a new monitor at this point. LG would make me pay for the repair if I sent it back. What else could I have done to cause the monitor to not power on? I never hit or drop the monitor, I did not get liquid on the monitor and I have always had it plugged into a surge protector. It is now September 2021 and the exact same issue has appeared. It took them over a month and a half, but they finally returned it to me with the motherboard replaced. I tried everything to address the issue within warranty, but ended up needing to ship it back to LG for repair. My LG 27GN750 - B wouldn't turn on back in December 2020.
